The new facility is set to be the final addition to Orange’s Civic Precinct.

The project brief consists of three main parts: a two-storey school of music, a recital hall to seat 280 and a planetarium theatre to seat 60. The venue will become a new destination for both education, tourism and musical performances in Orange. The facility will include 42 studios of varying sizes and layout to provide tutorial and practice spaces suitable for a range of instrument types and musicality. The Consevatorium which includes a specialist library is laid out around a central courtyard and integrated with the Recital Hall Back Stage areas.
