Rus is a Senior Associate at Brewster Hjorth Architects. Since joining in 2003, he has honed expertise in navigating a complex strategic environment and positioning a project in a contemporary framework.
Rus is a highly skilled Project Architect in the practice with over 20 years experience.

Rus brings a unique perspective and depth of experience to his position His talents in both architectural and interior design allow him to create buildings which both inspire their users, resolve complex physical circumstances, and devise creative solutions to harness the potential of a site as well as meet the operational requirements of the brief Rus works closely with Ian to lead the design team and ensure the project goals are met through a clear understanding of the functional brief and the project site and context.He is known for his ideas based approach to architecture and developing strong design concepts.

He considers architecture to be a balance between the pragmatic and the conceptual and is skilled at being able to maintain the integrity of the design, whilst balancing her clients needs, budget and time constraints.

Rus has most recently been working with Orange City Council on the Orange Conservatorium and Planetarium project which is currently under construction.
